The Hosta Hideaway was the featured business in the American Hosta Society’s March 2019 Newsletter. The three-page article starts on page 12. It is an honor being recognized in this way by the American Hosta Society, a national organization “dedicated to the study and improvement of the genus Hosta”. See the link below:

George Weigel, garden columnist for The Patriot-News (Harrisburg, Pa: Pennlive), wrote a very complementary article about The Hosta Hideaway. George is well a well-known expert on gardening and garden plants and we appreciated his kind words. The article has been reprinted by permission of the author.

In March 2019 The Hosta Hideaway created an educational display for the Pennsylvania Garden Show of York. The display was awarded 1st place at the show.

In June 2018 Don Rawson, who developed the hosta ‘Rhino Hide (pictured) visited The Hosta Hideaway. Rhino Hide is a great medium hosta and Don noted it is very sun tolerant. We appreciated his visit and we had a nice time talking hostas.
